| The word SAFE stands for Safety Awareness For Everyone. The SAFE club of Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur is one of the 52 SAFE clubs in this town with Mrs.Sumathi Muthuraman as the chairperson of all the clubs. The club was formed in the year 1999 and from its inception itself it has received a very good response from the students. The club looks after the safety of the students when they reach school, inside the school premises as well as during the dismissal. The SAFE club is also responsible for ensuring the safety of the students in the chemistry laboratories. It also conducts license and helmet checking of students who come on their two-wheelers.The club has also participated in different activitiessuch as rallies and contests to create awareness among of the safety rules among the citizens of Jamshedpur.The members of the club along with its moderator often go for meetings with the D.C for discussing techniquesthat can be adopted for ensuring the safety of the students. The SAFE club in its own little way has been trying to inculcate the safety rules among the students as its ultimate aim is the safety of the students.
