Foundation of the Eco-Commerce club was laid in the session 2002-2003 under the able guidance if teacher Rajni Virmani and teacher Seema Sinha.The students belonging to the economics/commerce group from classes 9 to 12 and 10 D are enrolled as members. The Eco-Commerce club aims at teaching students how to plan, organize and manage events and finance. The club has also made endeavors to provide its members with various career options available within as well as outside the country related to commerce and humanities. It also gives the students a clear notion of the structure and management of corporate houses. The club undertakes several activities during the scholastic year. An �Annual School Mela� is organized by the club, the net proceeds of which are gifted to various individuals and charitable institutions working for cancer and leprosy patients. The club has also organized educational trips to industries such as the Coke factory, Ice-cream factory and Industrial Development Bank of India.Various seminars and career-counsellings are also held for upgrading the students in various fields. Through these activities the Eco-Commerce club helps in grooming the students� organizing capacity and co-ordination ability and also serves as an effective platform for them to exhibit their talents and capabilities.
