|  | Constantly striving to set standards of excellence in all fields, be it studies or extra-curricular activities, the school provides a well-stocked library comprising 20,000 books, which inculcate the reading habit in its students. It is a boon to the students for reference work and projects. Additionally various magazines and periodicals provide stimulating material on current events.
The well-equipped library enhances the student's knowledge in all subjects. Books of fiction may be retained for a fortnight and reference books for three days. Only one fiction or biography and / or one reference book may be borrowed at a time.
Reserved books viz encyclopedias, dictionaries, general knowledge books etc. are to be used only within the Library. In case of necessity these books may be borrowed for one period or at the close of the school with the permission of the Librarian and should be returned before the first period of the following day. These books however are not to be borrowed for a whole day unless they are used in the Library. Magazines and other periodicals are, on no condition, to be taken out of the Library.
Each borrower is held responsible for all books taken by her and for all fines occurring on the same. No books may be taken from the library without the permission of the librarian.
It is the quality service provided by the Librarian Mrs. Firoza Billimoria that attracts a vast number of students to the Library. |
